Scoring
20 Question Version (M-CHAT-R)
- Scoring responses:
- Items 2, 5, and 12: +1 point for "Yes" responses
- All other items: +1 point for "No" responses
- Interpreting Scores:
- Score 0-2: LOW-RISK
- Score 3-7: MEDIUM-RISK
- Recommendation is perform the Follow-Up M-CHAT (see document below)
- Score 8-20: HIGH-RISK
- Referral recommended
