Scoliosis Imaging

• Radiology is frequently having to call clinic because we order a 2 view but a 1 view is needed. Here are the guidelines:
  1. Order a 1 view x-ray if you are getting a baseline or to see if the curvature is increasing.
  2. Order a 2 view if the patient is post-op scoliosis surgery or if you think the patient has a kyphotic curve.
